On September 13-14, at the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism an entrance exams in the areas of Master's Degree are being held with the help of the leading online proctoring system “Examus”.

“Examus” is a system used to analyze the behavior of online test takers in order to prevent cheating attempts and increase confidence in the remote testing process. The “Examus” system is based on computer vision and artificial intelligence technologies, which based on the analysis of the video stream from the camera, audio stream and desktop image, recognize violations during the exam and record it in a report.

The entire process of passing entrance exams is under the strict supervision of employees of the National Guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as employees of the department of the examination commission of the University, in compliance with all sanitary standards.

On September 13, of this year Shakhlo Khamrakulova a student of the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism held a lesson with the children of the SOS non-profit organization “Children's Village of Uzbekistan”, organized with the support of the Women's council of the university. Thanks to the language club called “Kids English”, the pupils of the children's mahalla take an active part in learning English every week.

Within the framework of the program for the development of entrepreneurship in higher education “Creative spark” the British Council has replenished the Library of the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism with various editions of books in the field of business and production.

A special place should be given to the rich literature on “Start-up” projects. These are real collections of recipes for all occasions. Such books should be opened at least once a month, because when you open them and find something new for yourself. To understand who these investors are, business angels or business devils, venture funds and seed investment funds, how they work, what they want from Start-ups and how they can help them, University students were provided with a huge collection of books.

For reference: Creative Spark is a five-year program to develop an International partnership between Universities and educational institutions in the UK and the participating countries of the project in the field of developing creative entrepreneurship skills in order to develop the creative economy. It is worth noting that the students of the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism are active participants in the “Big Idea Challenge” video screening contest, which encourages young people from the countries where the program is implemented to create an innovative “Start-up” and tell the world about it.

To participate in this program, students of the 3rd-4th year will have to take an express Turkish language course(online), and then make a trip to Turkey.

• Submit an ESSAY in English: “Why do I want to visit Turkey?”, consisting of at least 200 words.

- tourism potential of Turkey and Uzbekistan (25 points),

-how will this trip helps the University (25 points).

The first stage of the entrance exam for 10 grants provided by the Foundation for the Development of Culture and Art by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan for applicants who have chosen the direction “MA in Museum studies” will be held on September 13, 2021 with the help of the proctoring system "Examus".

An online test consisting of 50 questions can be passed by applicant if there is a PC that includes all the necessary technical requirements, at the university or in a convenient place for applicant (at home, at work).

If the applicant takes the test in a convenient place for him through his PC, then his responsibility is to ensure a stable Internet connection.
