M.A.Yorkulov, head of academic planning and development and independent researcher of "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, gave a lecture at the HTWG Konstanz University of Applied Sciences, ranked 478th in the QS World University Rankings – 2024 on the topic "Strategic development of regional tourism". Furthermore, the students of the university were informed about the touristic potential of Uzbekistan, in particular Samarkand region.

An exhibition of books on the history of Uzbekistan, the life of famous poets and scientists, national values, customs and traditions was organized as part of the "National Values" event held at "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage. 

Within the framework of the "National Values" event held at "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, students performed Uzbek national traditions, lapars, and classical songs, which are considered our national songs.

National clothes were presented by students as part of the "National Values" event held at "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage.

The event "National Values" was organized at "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage. Students, foreign teachers and experts working at our university, foreign students were invited to this event. Within the framework of the event, the students performed Uzbek national traditions, lapars and classic songs, which are considered our national music.

Charlotte Adriaen, EU Ambassador in Uzbekistan, participated in a seminar held on May 13-14 at "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage.

At the seminar, the experts talked about practical work in the sphere of higher education in Uzbekistan, cooperation projects with the European Union in this direction. In her speech, Mrs. Charlotte expressed the opinion that today the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev supports the education sector in every possible way, and the European Union in turn does not leave the development of the education sector without support.

On May 13-14 of this year the seminar with the participation of specialists of the Association for the Support of Experts in Reforming Higher Education Organizations is being held at “Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage.

Together with OBREAL, ERASMUS+ National Office, European Commission, SPHERE organization and “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage for the first time in Uzbekistan the meeting of experts on reforming higher education organizations was organized. About 70 experts from 22 countries are taking part in the seminar.

Today's seminar discusses the issues of wider involvement of innovative methods in the educational process, harmonization of higher education institution's activity with society, conducting research on the basis of cooperation, creation of sustainable development programs and other issues.

As previously reported, on May 12, experts of the EU Erasmus+ program on projects, cooperation, activities and mobility support in the field of education, training, youth and sports, which is taking 13-14 May at "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, got acquainted with the activities of our university and the exhibition of archaeological finds of the Emirate of Sharjah.

 About 70 specialists from 22 countries of the world, accompanied by teachers of our university, familiarized with the educational processes at "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, National Gallery of Clothing, activities of the library. In addition, the guests visited the exhibition of archaeological finds of the Emirate of Sharjah, which was organized in the Art Residence at our university, and were very impressed.

         On 13-14 May of this year, "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage hosted an international seminar aimed at establishing a program to support Erasmus+ EU projects, cooperation, activities and mobility in the fields of education, training, youth and sport.

         The Erasmus+ EU education program provides funding opportunities for cooperation between 33 European states (Member States and related states) in all these areas. Of particular importance is the strong international orientation of the cooperation between these 33 countries and third countries around the world. Today, May 13, about 70 experts from 22 countries participating in the program visited our university.

         At first, Advisor of Minister of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Suna Park delivered a speech to the participants of the seminar, sent by the Rector of "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage A.Abdukhakimov.

         After that, the expert speakers touched upon the significant aspects of this international program. The seminar is continuing.
