The Library plays an extremely important role in the activities of any Educational institution, including University. In addition to providing information for educational activities, which is a traditional direction, the Library, as is known, plays an important role in the educational and ideological work of any higher Educational Institution. A lot depends, as experts admit, on the intellectual activity of the Library, which takes place within its walls.

We would like to express our gratitude to the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Rector of the "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage Aziz Abdukhakimov, who presented to the Library with an excellent collection of books on Hotel and Restaurant Business. Now, students can get acquainted with the latest editions of such books as "101 HOTEL ROOMS", "101 Hotel Rooms, VOL. 2», «101 HOTEL BATHS & SPAS», «101 HOTEL-LOBBIES, BARS & RESTAURANTS», «BRANDLife: Boutique Hotels & Hostels», «BRANDLife: Restaurants & Bars: Integrated Brand Systems in Graphics and Space».

Thanks to the efforts of our esteemed Rector, the University Library is replenished daily with books on history, culture, tourism, art, archeology, linguistics, ethnography, etc.

On November 27 of this year, the solemn part of the “Minister's Cup” – the Award Ceremony of the winners took place at the "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage . The athletes were congratulated by the reactor of the University-A.Abdukhakimov.

According to the results of the competition, students of the "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage became winners in the following areas:

Quest:
1st place – “Turist”;

Badminton (pairs):
1st place – Mardonov Utkur and Olimjonova Sevara;

Badminton (f):
1st place – Yakubova Mokhina;

Badminton (m):
1st place – Islomov Bakhtiyor;

Chess (f):
2nd place – Mirzaeva Zarina

Armwrestling (70 kg):
1st place – Nurmurodov Zohidjon;

Armwrestling (80 kg):
2nd place – Marupov Doniyor;

Armwrestling (m-above 80 kg):
3rd place– Khamidov Alisher;

According to the results of the team competition:

1st place – The "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage;

2nd place - Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service;

3rd place - Bukhara State University;
