The flow of tourists from Tajikistan to Uzbekistan showed a sharp growth trend during 2020–2025. In particular, in 2020–2021, the figure remained at around 0.3–0.4 million visitors, but starting from 2022, it increased rapidly, reaching 2.2 million in 2023. Despite a slight decline in 2024 (to 1.6 million), the number rose again to 2.7 million in 2025, recording a 46.8% increase.
Moreover, in the structure of tourists visiting Uzbekistan in 2025, Tajikistan accounted for a significant share of 23.1%, placing it among the leading source countries. This figure is comparable to Kyrgyzstan (24.8%) and Kazakhstan (23.1%), highlighting the strong development of regional tourism ties.
