Today, a “Leadership and Youth” meeting was held at our university with the aim of enhancing students’ legal literacy, fostering patriotism and devotion to the country, supporting talented and promising young people, as well as preventing offenses and crime among youth.

Traditionally organized within the framework of “Thursday — Youth Day,” the open dialogue was attended by the Rector of the University, M. Kholmukhamedov, and Lieutenant Colonel Mukhtor Urunov, Deputy Head of the Samarkand City Department for Coordination of Internal Affairs Bodies.

During the dialogue, particular attention was paid to improving the legal awareness and culture of young people, protecting them from harmful ideologies and unlawful activities, organizing their leisure time in a meaningful way, as well as identifying and encouraging talented students.

During the meeting, which took place in an open and sincere atmosphere, students had the opportunity to ask questions, express their proposals, and put forward their initiatives. Through direct dialogue with the students, their concerns, needs, and issues were also heard and discussed.

At the conclusion of the event, relevant measures were outlined to review the proposals and appeals submitted by students, address the issues raised, and implement the initiatives put forward in practice.
