PRACTICAL TRAINING SESSIONS HELD IN BUKHARA AND KHOREZM REGIONS FOR PARTICIPANTS OF THE 8TH GROUP OF THE TOUR GUIDE TRAINING COURSE

Practical training sessions were organized in the Bukhara and Khorezm regions for participants of the 8th group of the tour guide training course established under the university.

The main objectives of the training sessions were to reinforce participants' theoretical knowledge through practical experience, provide them with an opportunity to put their guiding skills to the test at historical and cultural heritage sites, and further develop their professional competencies and practical skills.

During the practical sessions, university subject instructors and experienced professional tour guides provided participants with comprehensive explanations of the key aspects of the tour guiding profession, as well as the specific requirements for effectively organizing and conducting guided tours.

Particular attention was paid to procedures for visiting historical and cultural heritage sites, regulations governing the entry of tourist groups into these sites, how to properly introduce a tour, how to present information in a clear, coherent, and structured manner, and how to conclude a guided tour professionally.

In addition, participants received practical recommendations and guidance on communicating effectively with tourists during excursions, providing accurate and well-founded answers to frequently asked questions, making appropriate decisions in unexpected situations, and managing tourist groups.

For your information: Preparations are currently underway to compile the list of participants for the next group of the tour guide training course organized under the university.
