Today, as part of her visit to Samarkand, Her Excellency Ms. Paraskevi (Voula) Tzeveleki, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Hellenic Republic to Uzbekistan, paid a visit to our university.

During the visit, Her Excellency met with the university leadership to discuss opportunities for enhancing cooperation in tourism and education between Greece and Uzbekistan, specifically focusing on establishing partnership ties between our university and higher education institutions in Greece.

Students also participated in the meeting, engaging in an exchange of views regarding international cooperation, educational programs, and opportunities within the tourism sector.

As part of the visit, Ms. Paraskevi (Voula) Tzeveleki conducted a presentation for university students on Greece's tourism industry. During the presentation, insights were shared with students regarding Greece's tourism sector, its key development trajectories, and its role in the national economy.

The Ambassador’s visit to our university marks a significant step toward expanding new partnership opportunities with Greek higher education institutions and broadening international experience-sharing avenues for our students.
