Key initiatives are being implemented to ensure a safe environment at our university
Preventing crime in higher education institutions, creating a safe environment for students and staff, and strengthening public order are among today's crucial tasks. To this end, a series of initiatives are being implemented at our university aimed at ensuring security, perfecting existing monitoring systems, and expanding capabilities for prompt emergency assistance.
In particular, video surveillance cameras have been installed across the university campus, serving to monitor the situation on site, bolster security, and prevent potential infractions.
Additionally, turnstile system gates have been implemented at university entrances. Beyond controlling entry and exit, this system enables automated tracking of student attendance and participation, forming key statistical data. This plays a vital role in effectively organizing the educational process and ensuring compliance with internal regulations.
Furthermore, SOS buttons have been installed across the campus to provide rapid assistance in emergencies. Through these panic buttons, direct calls to emergency numbers 1131 and 112 can be made when necessary. This system is designed to safeguard students and staff, ensure immediate response to potential hazards, and streamline the emergency call process.
A safe university is the foundation of quality education and productive endeavors. Therefore, special attention continues to be devoted to consistently advancing these security measures to ensure the peace and safety of every university member.
