On February 18–19, 2026, the Second Forum of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions of Uzbekistan and Italy was held at Roma Tre University in the capital of Italy, Rome.
The forum served as an important platform aimed at deepening scientific and innovative cooperation, strengthening sustainable academic ties between higher education institutions, and expanding joint initiatives.
Representatives of the ’’Silk Road’’ International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage also actively participated in the forum and held a number of meetings to advance international cooperation and promote joint initiatives.
During the forum, the parties exchanged views on:

🔹 launching joint educational programs
🔹 strengthening cooperation in scientific research
🔹 enhancing faculty exchange
The forum elevated the dialogue between the academic communities of Uzbekistan and Italy to a new level and created a solid foundation for future effective cooperation.
