On April 25, the Department of Written and Oral Translation Studies organized an internal Olympiad on the Theory and Practice of Translation for 2025, aimed at assessing the knowledge of talented undergraduate students in the field of translation and interpreting. University students participated in the competition and tested their skills.
Winners were determined based on scores from various tasks in the first and second rounds of the Olympiad, which included test questions, a written translation assignment, oral interpretation, and terminology.
According to the results:
Nozima Oblokulova – TTK 124 – 1st place
Nurgul Ashurkulova – TTK 124 – 2nd place
Anastasiya Shakirova – TTK 224 – 3rd place
The winners were awarded certificates and commemorative gifts by the organizers.
