On September 25, a regional Kurash championship among students of higher education institutions in the Samarkand region was organized at the Samarkand State Pedagogical Institute in honor of October 1 — Teachers and Mentors Day.

In the competition, Sheykha Khudoyqulova, a 1st-year student at the "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, successfully performed in the 52 kg weight category and took 3rd place.

This achievement demonstrates our student's athletic talent and marks an important step toward developing national sports and promoting a healthy lifestyle among young people.
