New academic achievements from our students
To support our students' scientific research, bring their studies to the attention of the broader public, and highlight their successes on an ongoing basis, the rubric "Achievement Through Science" ("Ilm bilan erishilgan yutuq") has been established at our university.
Within this framework, scientific articles authored by students majoring in Tourism and Hospitality are featured.
Our second-year student, Madinakhon Jonikulova, has published a research article titled "Samarkand — the heart of the Great Silk Road and jewel of tourism: a blend of ancient heritage and modern tourism."
The paper analyzes Samarkand's historic role as a vital hub along the Great Silk Road, its rich cultural heritage, and its development prospects as a modern tourism center. Additionally, it highlights the harmony between historical-architectural monuments, national values, and modern tourism infrastructure, as well as Samarkand's international tourism potential.
Furthermore, another second-year student, Ruslan Rakhimov, has authored a scientific article titled "The role of traditional Uzbek cultural festivals in the development and sustainability of tourism."
The research investigates the function of Uzbekistan's traditional cultural festivals in advancing tourism, their significance in attracting both local and foreign tourists, and their contribution to ensuring sustainable tourism. It also analyzes key aspects serving the preservation of national cultural heritage, enhancing the tourist attractiveness of regions, and driving socio-economic growth.
These scientific works demonstrate our students' deep engagement in academic research, their developing analytical skills, and their commitment to exploring pressing issues in the field of tourism.
