"Sharing Enlightenment": A creative meeting with renowned writers was held at our university
To foster a spirit of patriotism among young people, elevate their reading culture, and deepen their appreciation for literature, a spiritual and educational event was organized at our university as part of the nationwide "Sharing Enlightenment" ("Ma'rifat ulashib") project.
Distinguished figures of Uzbek literature — Normurod Norqobilov, O'roz Haydar, and Azizbek Norov — were the honored guests at the meeting.
During the event, the writers shared their thoughts on their creative journeys, the unique aspects of authorial work, the essential role of literature in human and societal life, as well as the position of today's youth in society.
The guests' life experiences and the enduring values woven into their works—such as humanity, kindness, and devotion to the Motherland—left a profound impression on the students.
A highlight of the program was a series of special presentations prepared by the students themselves. Talented youth presented detailed overviews of the writers' life paths and rich literary legacies, offering participants an intimate look into the guests' multifaceted endeavors.
Additionally, students recited selected excerpts from the authors' works by heart in Uzbek, English, Chinese, and Japanese.
