On September 28, an awareness and preventive meeting on the topic "Prevention of Drug Abuse and Drug Crimes" was organized at our university. The event was attended by field specialists, Lieutenant Colonel Utkir Toirovich Gulyamov, responsible officer of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Samarkand Regional Internal Affairs Directorate, and Gulchehra Mustafayevna, doctor-narcologist from the Samarkand Regional Narcology Branch, who engaged in an open dialogue with student youth.

During the discussion, experts provided comprehensive information on the negative consequences of narcotic and psychotropic substances on human health, particularly on the future of young people, as well as the criminal and administrative liability measures established by legislation for the illegal trafficking of narcotic drugs and their analogues.

Furthermore, the meeting urged young people to remain vigilant against various harmful habits and illegal online activities, organize their leisure time meaningfully, and strictly adhere to a healthy lifestyle. Students received detailed answers to their questions from the specialists.
