From April 14 to 18, 2026, teachers of the Department of Tourism took part in the international forum titled “Partnership for Sustainable Development: Green. Digital. Smart,” organized by the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan.
During the opening ceremony, the delegation became closely acquainted with international experience in key areas of sustainable tourism development, including the “green economy,” digital technologies, and smart management approaches.
The delegation also participated in the Navruz celebration organized by the university, where they explored the national customs, traditions, and cultural values of the Tajik people.
On April 16, 2026, within the framework of the forum, at the international scientific and practical conference, our teachers Sh. Toyirova and D. Mardonova presented their research papers. In their presentations, they discussed the integration of ecological approaches and digital technologies in the development of sustainable tourism.
