From May 26 to June 9, 2026, the international training seminar “Seminar on Tourism Management Capacity Building for Belt and Road Countries” was held in the People’s Republic of China. Habibullo Hasanov, a staff member of “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, also participated in this seminar.
During the program, lectures and practical sessions were organized on tourism management, integration of culture and tourism, smart tourism, cultural heritage preservation, and cooperation within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative. During the seminar, visits were made to tourism, cultural, and innovation sites in Beijing, Hefei, and Chizhou. In addition, Uzbekistan’s tourism potential and national culture were introduced to international participants.
At the end of the seminar, certificates were awarded to the participants, and views were exchanged on the knowledge and experience gained during the program.
