Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, Nodir Khushvaqtov, participated in the international training seminar titled “The Protection, Inheritance and Development of Intangible Cultural Heritage under the Global Civilization Initiative”, organized by the Central Academy of Cultural and Tourism Administration.
The seminar brought together representatives from more than 10 countries to discuss advanced approaches to the protection, management, inheritance, and development of intangible cultural heritage, as well as its integration with modern tourism.
During the seminar, Dean Nodir Khushvaqtov delivered a presentation on Uzbekistan’s rich historical and cultural heritage, ongoing efforts to preserve national values, and the university’s activities in the fields of tourism, cultural heritage, education, and research.
As part of the practical sessions, participants visited cultural heritage sites, museums, tourism destinations, and intangible cultural heritage centers in Beijing, Guangzhou, and Chaozhou, gaining insights into best practices for heritage preservation and promotion.
At the final stage of the international training seminar, Nodir Khushvaqtov was awarded a certificate by Ma Feng, President of the Academy, for successfully completing the seminar program.
