A literary and artistic evening dedicated to the 100th anniversaries of Academician Aziz Qayumov and renowned poet Saida Zunnunova, as well as the 85th anniversary of the Hero of Uzbekistan and People’s Poet Abdulla Oripov, was organized with the participation of PhD, Acting Associate Professor U. Otayarova of the Department of Languages and Global Studies of the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, tutor G. Mirzoqobilova, and creative students of the university.
The literary evening was held at the A.S. Pushkin Samarkand Regional Information and Library Center. During the event, students recited poems by Saida Zunnunova and Abdulla Oripov. The scientific and creative activity of Aziz Qayumov was explained by PhD, Acting Associate Professor U. Otayarova.
