A Tourism Olympiad was organized at the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage within the framework of the “Rector’s Olympiad” with the aim of increasing students’ interest in academic subjects, identifying talented and knowledgeable young people, and developing their independent thinking skills.The Olympiad, dedicated to the results of the 2025–2026 academic year, was held on May 21–22 and brought together students majoring in tourism to test their knowledge, analytical thinking, and professional competencies.During the competition, participants were assessed on their knowledge of tourism theory, tourism management, hospitality, tourism services, destination management, marketing, and modern trends in tourism development.This initiative plays an important role in fostering a healthy competitive environment among students, supporting talented youth, and preparing them for national and international competitions and Olympiads.
