In connection with the 100th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Uzbek writer Odil Yakubov, Acting Associate Professor of the Department of “Languages and Global Studies,” PhD I. Ablakulova organized a spiritual and educational event.
During the event, students gave presentations about the writer’s life and multifaceted creative work, as well as his invaluable contribution to the development of Uzbek literature.
The event was held in the form of a roundtable discussion, where a comprehensive analysis of the writer’s work “Ice Cream” was conducted. Participants exchanged views on the content of the work, its main ideas, and artistic features.
In addition, a question-and-answer session was organized, during which students demonstrated their knowledge and expressed their own opinions. At the end of the event, the most active participants were awarded with books.
