In accordance with the letter No. 01-16-241 dated April 21, 2026, issued by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and within the framework of implementing the Presidential Resolutions No. PQ-135 of April 26, 2023, “On Additional Measures for the Accelerated Development of the Republic’s Tourism Potential and Further Increase in the Number of Domestic and Foreign Tourists,” and No. PQ-269 of July 18, 2024, “On Measures to Improve the System of Training Personnel for the Tourism Sector,” on June 23, 2026, the faculty members, staff, and students of the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage organized an educational visit to the Imam Al-Bukhari Memorial Complex.

During the visit, participants became acquainted with the rich scholarly and spiritual legacy of the great muhaddith Imam Al-Bukhari, the facilities created within the complex, and ongoing efforts aimed at developing pilgrimage tourism. They also explored the exhibitions of the Innovative Museum, which employs modern technologies to present valuable information about the life and achievements of the renowned scholar.

The visit contributed to enhancing the knowledge of faculty members, staff, and students about Uzbekistan’s historical and cultural heritage, promoting the opportunities of pilgrimage tourism, and strengthening practical skills in the field of tourism.
