As part of the traditional “Thursday – Youth Day” at the International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage “Silk Road”, an open and sincere dialogue was held to support the lives of students and their interest in science and knowledge.
During the meeting, which was held in a free and friendly atmosphere with the participation of the Rector of the university, Muhsinjon Xolmuxamedov, a list of the 100 most famous books in world literature was announced. It was also stated that students’ reviews and discussions of these books would be recorded in the form of podcasts and shared on social media platforms.
During the open and sincere dialogue, the Rector shared his personal life experience and the secrets of his success with the students and recommended several international and national literary works that every student should read. In addition, important information was provided about new projects and competitions that will be launched at the university to encourage young readers.
“We are training world-class specialists in the fields of tourism and cultural heritage. Such a high goal can only be achieved through deep knowledge and a broad worldview. A person who reads books not only understands the world but can also inspire others to follow them,” said the Rector.
At the end of the meeting, students received direct answers to all the questions that interested them.
