A Meeting on the Opportunities of LinkedIn and career.edu.uz Platforms for Students Was Held

In today’s digital age and highly competitive environment, it is no longer sufficient to rely solely on theoretical knowledge. Every student who aspires to secure a place in the modern labor market must develop a personal brand and build a strong professional network.

With this goal in mind, on June 12 of this year, our university organized a seminar-training for students dedicated to the effective use of LinkedIn, the world’s largest professional social networking platform, as well as registration on the career.edu.uz platform provided by the Ministry.

The event was conducted in an interactive format, including question-and-answer sessions and practical exercises. During the seminar, students participated in master classes on the following important topics:

Profile Optimization

Tips on effectively completing the Headline and About sections using relevant keywords, as well as the secrets of choosing and uploading a professional profile photo.

Networking

Strategies for establishing professional and respectful connections with local and international experts, company executives, and human resources (HR) managers within their field of interest.

Content Creation

How to keep a profile active by sharing industry news, achievements, and project updates, while strengthening a personal brand.

Discovering Hidden Job Opportunities

Making effective use of the Vacancies section, following target companies through filters, and applying for internship programs.
