Today, on the occasion of the “Car-Free Day” campaign in Samarkand, the management, professors, and teachers of our university came to work without using service or personal cars; some arrived on foot, while others used public transportation.
The “Car-Free Day” initiative was supported by our university team, which contributed to reducing traffic congestion in the city, preventing air pollution, and increasing the culture of using public transportation. The increase of such environmental campaigns in Samarkand is an important step for the urban environment and public health.
