A literary evening dedicated to the art of translation and literary expression was held at the International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage “Silk Road”. The event was organized by the Department of Theory of Written and Oral Translation and was prepared at a high level by students of the “Theory and Practice of Translation” program.
During the event, excerpts from poetic and prose works were presented, translations of works by various authors were showcased, and engaging discussions were held on the accurate conveyance of meaning and style when translating from one language into another.
The Rector of the university, Muhsinjon Xolmuxamedov, attended the literary evening and emphasized that today all necessary opportunities are available for students to demonstrate their talents and abilities. The Rector highly appreciated the students’ efforts in the field of translation and expressed his readiness to continue supporting such cultural and educational events in the future.
