From May 18 to 21, 2026, the Harvard Youth Leadership Summit was held at the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage under the slogan: “From Dream to Opportunity: Harvard in Samarkand!”
At this international event, students of the Culinary Arts department of the Samarkand Tourism and Cultural Heritage Technical College also demonstrated their professional skills. Under the guidance of production training master Noila Murodova, the young chefs provided high-quality catering services for the summit guests.
Professors and students visiting from Harvard University in the USA, university youth, and students of specialized schools highly appreciated the young chefs’ culinary skills, hospitality, and modern service culture.
These practical achievements became another vivid example of the ongoing efforts to strengthen practical skills in the vocational education system and train specialists in line with international standards, based on the tasks set out in Presidential Decree PF-158.
