In order to ensure the implementation of Clause 107.4 of the Action Plan No. 01-16-241 of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 21, 2026, seminar trainings were organized on May 15 of this year in the villages of Tersak and Sovg‘on of Urgut District for specialists of tourism and service enterprises and owners of guest houses.
During the seminar, practical explanations were provided on the topics “Modern Service Requirements and Professional Competencies in the Tourism and Service Sector” and “Assessment of Tourism Area Potential and Formation of Local Tourism Products.” Particular attention was paid to welcoming guests and providing quality service, improving the service culture in guest houses, complying with safety and sanitary-hygienic requirements, as well as developing local tourism products.
In addition, recommendations were given on the tourism opportunities of the villages of Tersak and Sovg‘on, rural tourism, national traditions, handicrafts, and the development of local gastronomy as a tourism product.
