On October 12–16, a practical seminar-training titled “Samarkand — The Tourism Gateway of New Uzbekistan” was organized.

The event was held in cooperation with the Samarkand Regional Tourism Department, the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, and the International Tourism Academy.

The seminar-training was attended by 40 managers of family guesthouses operating in the Qoratepa, Tersak, Omonqoton, and Bahrin neighborhoods of the Urgut district.

Within the framework of the seminar-training, special attention was devoted to developing rural tourism, enhancing the operational efficiency of family guesthouses, improving service quality, and effectively utilizing the regional tourism potential.

Letters of appreciation and certificates were presented to our university team for their practical support in organizing and executing this event at a high level.
