On May 6, 2026, a seminar-training was held in the Totar Mahalla Citizens’ Assembly of Yakkabog District, Kashkadarya Region, on the topic of establishing home guesthouses based on “green” principles, improving the quality of tourism services, and developing service skills.
During the event, professors and teachers of the Department of Tourism at the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage provided modern knowledge and practical skills to local residents who have already started working in the tourism sector or are interested in entering this field.
Special attention was given to environmentally friendly “green” guesthouse standards that preserve local culture and nature, as well as to guest communication etiquette and service quality.
At the end of the seminar-training, participants received practical recommendations on developing tourism infrastructure in their communities and promoting rural tourism.
