A ceremonial award event was held for the winners of the “National Competition,” organized within the framework of the “Five Million AI Leaders” initiative launched by our President.
The event was opened by the Minister of Digital Technologies, Sherzod Shermatov, who spoke about the opportunities being created for young people to acquire modern knowledge and skills, as well as the ongoing reforms in the field of digital technologies.
During the event, students, pupils, teaching staff, educational institutions, and partner organizations that actively participated in the project and achieved high results in 2025 were awarded.
In particular, 12 students of the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage were recognized as winners in the “Most Active Participant” nomination and were awarded laptops.
This achievement is recognized as an important result of the systematic efforts being carried out at the university to equip students with modern knowledge, develop their innovative potential, and actively engage them in the fields of digital technologies and artificial intelligence.
