Today, on April 6, an opening ceremony of the “New Uzbekistan Student Olympiad,” organized at the initiative of the President, was held at the Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service.
At the nationwide sports event, attended by the Minister of Sports I. Ikromov, the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Q. Sharipov, other officials, and rectors of higher education institutions, the rector of the International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage “Silk Road”, Muhsinjon Kholmukhamedov, also took part.
For information, representatives of our university will also participate in this high-level sports competition in several sports disciplines and will enter the contests.
