An important step has been taken at the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage to improve the methodology of teaching the French language. New instructional and methodological manuals have been published by Acting Associate Professor, PhD D.B. Mirboboyeva for full-time 2nd–3rd year undergraduate students in two fields of study: 60220400 – Archaeology and 61010500 – Guiding and Translation Activities.
The publications include the following titles:
• Guide méthodologique (français) – 2nd year
• Guide méthodologique (français) – 3rd year
These manuals are aimed at developing professional French language proficiency, improving students’ language knowledge and skills, and forming communication competencies necessary for interaction with foreign partners in the fields of archaeology, guiding, and translation.
The new publications have been introduced into the university’s educational process and are being received with great interest by both professors and students.
