As a continuation of the recent meeting held at the International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage “Silk Road”, a university delegation visited the SamAuto automobile manufacturing plant in Samarkand today.
During the visit, Mukhsinjon Kholmukhamedov, Rector of the International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage “Silk Road”, and Neşet Fatih Vural, General Director of SamAuto, held discussions on implementing a dual education system, organizing student internships, developing a highly qualified workforce, and enhancing graduate employment opportunities.
It is worth noting that SamAuto is part of Anadolu Group, one of Türkiye’s largest multinational conglomerates. Operating in more than 20 countries, with nearly 100 companies and over 100,000 employees, the Group is active in automotive manufacturing, beverages, logistics, and several other sectors. Anadolu Group includes globally recognized companies such as Anadolu Isuzu, Coca-Cola İçecek, and Anadolu Efes.
The parties agreed to strengthen cooperation in training industry-oriented specialists, involving company experts in the educational process, and expanding internship and professional development opportunities for students.
The visit marked an important step toward strengthening the integration of education, science, and industry, as well as preparing highly qualified professionals capable of meeting the demands of the global labor market.
