A guest lecture was organized for students by Ms. Ma’mura Ismailova, Assistant Lecturer of the Department of International Business and Creative Economy at the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage for students of the BM-125 and Mar-125 groups.
Mr. Bekzod Saliyev, a specialist from the Samarkand Regional State Tax Department, was invited to the event and delivered a lecture on the topic “The Tax System of Uzbekistan”.
During the lecture, detailed information was provided on the current tax system of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the role and importance of taxes in the economy, types of taxes for legal entities and individuals, tax incentives, the digitalization of tax administration processes, and the opportunities and conveniences created for business entities.
In addition, the guest lecturer explained the latest reforms in the tax sector, electronic tax services, and available opportunities for young professionals. During the event, students received answers to their questions and gained a deeper understanding of the practical aspects of the tax system.
This guest lecture contributed to enriching students’ theoretical knowledge with practical experience, enhancing their professional competencies, and increasing their interest in the field of taxation.
