The members of the delegation were greatly impressed by the work of the Tourism Academy and its tourism laboratories.
A meeting was organized at the Tourism Academy between Mayor Gen Nakagawa of Nara, Mayor Fazliddin Umarov of Samarkand, and a group of entrepreneurs from both Japan and Samarkand to facilitate mutual dialogue.For reference, in 2022, a sister city agreement was signed between the cities of Samarkand and Nara.
