The "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage announces the start of the candidate selection stage for the election of the President of the Student Parliament!

The Student Parliament Presidential Election will be held based on the following principles:
• Voluntariness
• Transparency
• Fairness
• Equality of rights
• Initiative

Most importantly, candidates must be self-confident, possess an active life position, leadership qualities, and organizational skills. Every university student has the right to vote in the Student Parliament election. No privileges or restrictions are allowed regarding voting rights.

Any full-time student may nominate themselves for the presidency of the Student Parliament.

Requirements for Candidates for Student Parliament President:

1. Academic Requirements:

   • Must be a full-time undergraduate student of the university;

   • Must have a high GPA;

2. Ethical and Social Requirements:

   • Must not have violated university internal rules;

   • Must not have been subject to disciplinary actions;

   • Must have good morals and leadership qualities;

3. Application Process Requirements:

   • Submission of an application and a motivation letter;

   • Proficiency in Uzbek, English, and Russian;

   • Ability to work with official documents;

   • Must prepare an election program;

   • Must prepare a short video titled “I am the President of the Student Parliament,” in which the candidate presents their future plans, strategic vision for the position, and new initiatives for university students.
