On June 16, an open and sincere dialogue between the university rector, Muhsinjon Kholmukhamedov, and students was held in the university assembly hall.
The meeting was dedicated to the topic of reading. In order to encourage students not to stop learning during the summer vacation period and to enhance their intellectual potential by reading various books, the rector announced the “Book Reading Challenge.”
This initiative, as a logical continuation of our President’s efforts to encourage young people to read books, was warmly supported by the students.
It was announced that within the framework of the “Book Reading Challenge,” each student would read the recommended books, a special Telegram bot channel would be created to sharpen thinking skills and organize discussions about the books they have read, regular debates would be held in the channel, and active participants would be financially rewarded.
During the event, which was held in the form of questions, answers, and discussion, the university rector emphasized that one of the main achievements of world-famous personalities is reading books and continuously working on themselves, which provided strong motivation for the students.
It was also emphasized that new projects related to book reading would be launched from the new academic year and that the university should become a place where students can realize their potential.
