On September 10, 2026, a seminar-training session titled "AI in Tourism" was held in fulfillment of Item 112.4 of the "Action Plan No. 01-16-241 for the 2026 tourism season—aimed at enhancing the tourism potential of regions assigned to higher education institutions—issued by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations of the Republic of Uzbekistan on May 6, 2025 (in accordance with Presidential Resolutions No. PQ-135 dated April 26, 2023, and No. PQ-269 dated July 18, 2024)."

The event focused on the theme "Developing a Culture of Hospitality: Based on the Principle of 'Everyone Serves'" and was conducted by T. Abdulloyev, a lecturer from the Department of Languages ​​and Global Studies, and S. Quvondiqov, a lecturer from the Department of Tourism. Twenty participants—service providers operating home-based hotels, hostels, and eateries who had expressed interest in professional development and registered for the course—attended the event, which featured a presentation by Sardor Quvondiqov from the Department of Tourism. During the discussion, the culture of hospitality, attracting tourist flows, the service sector, dining establishments, home-based guesthouses, and the importance of the work of tour guides were highlighted in detail.
