At the Tourism Academy, an event dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the renowned folklorist scholar, laureate of the Beruni State Prize of Uzbekistan, and recipient of the “Fidokorona xizmatlari uchun” and “Do‘stlik” orders, To‘ra Mirzayev, was held under the guidance of Dilfuza Mirboboyeva, PhD, Associate Professor of the Department of Languages and Global Studies. Students of the Arch-124, BM-124, IR-124, and IR-224 groups took part in the event.During the event, students became closely acquainted with the scholar’s childhood, life, educational background, and professional activities, as well as his interpretations of national epics such as Alpomish, Go‘ro‘g‘li, Kuntug‘mish, and Ravshan, in addition to more than 600 scientific articles authored by him.At the conclusion of the event, D. Mirboboyeva emphasized that the scholar’s works would forever remain a spiritual treasure of the Uzbek nation and continue to serve as a major source for those who value national traditions and heritage.
