A delegation from the Nanjing City Government of the People’s Republic of China visited our university. The delegation was headed by the Deputy Chairman of the Nanjing Municipal People’s Political Consultative Conference. The delegation, which included the Deputy Director of the Nanjing Municipal Bureau of Commerce, the Deputy Director of the Bureau of Culture and Tourism, as well as Deputy Mayors of Xuanwu District of Nanjing, ознакомились with the activities of our university.
The main purpose of the visit is to expand cooperation opportunities between Nanjing—one of the ancient historical cities and major tourism centers—and the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage.
During the negotiations, special attention was also paid to expanding cooperation with Central Asian countries within the framework of the “China–Central Asia Trade Promotion Cooperation Platform” (launched at the Second China–Central Asia Summit).
The guests were welcomed by the First Vice-Rector for Administrative Affairs, who held discussions with them on promising areas of cooperation. At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to implement mutually beneficial projects.
