Император Японии наградил члена Правительства Узбекистана орденом высшей степени
Written by Administrator9 ноября 2022 года в Императорском Дворце в Токио состоялась церемония награждения заместителя Премьер-министра, министра туризма и культурного наследия Республики Узбекистан Азиза Абдухакимова «Большим Кордоном Ордена Восходящего Солнца». В соответствии с традициями, орден был вручен Императором Японии Нарухито в присутствии Премьер – министра Фумио Кисидо.
Награждение «Большим Кордоном Ордена Восходящего Солнца» подтверждает признание многолетнего вклада в укреплении дружественных отношений между Японией и Узбекистаном.
Данный орден является старейшим в Японии и высшей степенью (из 6 степеней) «Ордена Восходящего солнца», который вручается начиная с 1875 года.
It is known that the contribution made by representatives of Samarkand School of Turkology to science and research is recognized by world centers of Turkology. Recently, the famous Turkologist-scientist, First Vice-Rector of our university Prof. Joliboy Eltazarov, from the famous Institute of Turkology at the Istanbul University of the Republic of Turkey, received this article from "Türkiyat Mecmuası" ("Journal of Turkology"), which has been published in this scientific center since 1925. received an offer to cooperate in the activity of a prestigious scientific publication as a member of the editorial board. He is the author of 20 books, textbooks and monographs and more than 200 articles in the fields of Turkology, Uzbek linguistics, Turkic world studies, and in the following years, 20 articles on the current problems of Turkology were published in Turkish and world scientific publications in different languages. for his services, he was considered worthy to be a member of the editorial board of "Türkiyat Mecmuası". I accept being a member of the editorial board of the journal "Türkiyat Mecmuası" of the Institute of Turkology at Istanbul University, which was established on the initiative of the Great Atatürk, as a high assessment given to Turkology research in our country and Samarkand State University, and this blessing is in the activity of the scientific publication. I will do my best to actively participate,' the scientist wrote in his reply letter. We remind you that prof. Joliboy Eltazarov has been a correspondent member of Türk Dil Kurumu (Turkish Language Academy) since 2020, and the scientist was awarded the international Chingiz Aytmatov medal by TurkSOY in 2023.

One more good news, Prof. Tony Zou, Vice-Rector of Research and Innovation of our university, was awarded with the badge "Defender of Nature" within the framework of the international conference COP14 in Samarkand. Minister of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change of Uzbekistan, Rector Aziz Abdukhakimov handed the award.

The next good news Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the recommendation of the Council of “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage approved the scientific title of Associate Professor Nargiza Shamsidinovna Mansurova Nargiza Mansurova, Head of Scientific Research Department, on the speciality “Demography. Labor Economics”.
The staff of our university also wishes Nargiza Shamsidinovna great successes on the way of development of scientific sphere and the continuation of such achievements.

On 25 November 2023 at the Scientific Council DSc.33/01.02.2022.I.145.01 under “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage , an employee of the Information Resources Center of our university, Siroj Samiev, defended his PhD dissertation in economic sciences in the specialty 08.00.17 - Tourism and hotel activities (economic sciences) on the topic “Improving organizational and economic mechanisms for the development of business tourism in the regions (on the example of the Samarkand region)”. Recently, by decision of the Board of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan, he was awarded the academic degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in economic sciences.
January 18 the First vice-rector of our university, prof. J.Eltazarov on behalf of the management congratulated Siroj Samiev, who was the first to defend his dissertation among the staff of our university at the Scientific Council DSc.33/01.02.2022.I.145.01 and awarded him a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in economic sciences diploma.

Scientist-Turkologist awarded with Chingiz Aitmatov medal

First Vice-Rector of “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, renowned Turkic scholar, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor Juliboy Eltazarov is currently in Ankara, Republic of Turkey. On 6 June the scientist was awarded the Chingiz Aitmatov Medal established by the International Organisation of Turkic Culture - TURKSOY under the Organisation of Turkic States. Professor Juliboy Eltazarov was awarded this medal, named after Chingiz Aitmatov, the great exponent of the world and Turkic literature, for his merits in long-term activities on development of the Turkic language, culture and art abroad and strengthening of kinship and cooperation between Turkic peoples.
At the meeting at TURKSOY Headquarters in Ankara Deputy Chairman of the Board Professor Bilal Chakizi placed this medal on the chest of Professor J. Eltazarov under the storm of applause. In his brief speech in reply to the award the scholar thanked the leadership of TURKSOY for the high appreciation of their humble work and said he would continue to invest all his efforts in study and development of cultures. The university staff, professors and lecturers also congratulate our teacher on this great achievement.

It is known that according to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 8, 2022, the commemorative badge "30th anniversary of the Constitution of Uzbekistan" was established.
The first vice-rector of the "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage: Doctor of Philology, Professor Jo'liboy Danabayevich Eltazarov has been awarded with the commemorative badge "30 th ANNIVERSARY OF THE CONSTITUTION OF UZBEKISTAN" for making a worthy contribution to the work of raising the scientific potential of our country, raising a healthy and mature generation, educating our youth in the spirit of patriotism and independence.
