Applicants for basic doctoral studies (PhD), independent research (PhD, DSc) must submit the following documents:

1) Application;

2) Brief biographical reference (CV)

3) A copy of the employment record certified in the prescribed manner (for working applicants);

4) A master’s degree of a higher educational institution, a copy of a diploma of higher education, together with its appendices;

5) List of published scientific works, as well as their copies (pdf);

6) Passport copy;

7) 3x4 picture, 2 pieces;

8) Subject of the proposed dissertation and title;

9) Job description

10) National or equivalent international language certificate

11) Copy of  the State Scholarship document of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan (if available).

Applicants are not required to have a certificate confirming their level of knowledge of a foreign language, as it is determined that the intern research institute is considered to be the head of preparation for the post-secondary education institution.

On August 31, 2023, the Youth Development Forum CICA-2023 was held in the capital of the People's Republic of China, Beijing, with the active support of the Secretariat of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA).

Lecturer of the Department of Tourism Management, Sanjar Mardonov attended the forum at the invitation of the “President of CICG Center for Europe and Asia” and delivered a remarkable speech, providing help and support in promoting CICA youth development. On September 11 of this year, the Women's Council of "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage together with scientists, enlightened women, members of the "Smart Women" movement, students of Samarkand Technical University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage -daughters held a roundtable discussion under the slogan "Woman of the 21st Century" on the topic "The Formula of a Happy Family". Today, the Samarkand campus of the International Tourism Academy is being established under the auspices of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) at 3 Babur Mirzo Street, Samarkand city. This academy is an important project for further improving the tourism potential of our country and training qualified personnel in the field of tourism. It is planned to create cafes and restaurants on the 1500 square meters in the Academy building.

Terms of lease:

The lessee uses the leased area only to organize high-level catering services (cafe, restaurant, etc.).

The lessee shall repair and equip the leased premises at his own expense according to the project presented by the custodian.

On September 8 of this year, an exhibition called “Life consists of moments” of artist Vasiliy Zakharsky was held at “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage. This exhibition was organized by the Museum of Modern Art of Uzbekistan in Urganch in cooperation with “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage.

It should be noted that the creative works of this author were donated to our university and to the Museum of Modern Art of Uzbekistan in Urganch in order to popularize fine art and increase the interest of young students in art. At the event, the artist's life and work were touched upon, and interesting opinions were expressed about the essence of the works. At the end of the exhibition, the participants watched the works of the artist.

On September 8 of this year, according to the plan, the officials of our university visited a number of residential houses in order to get acquainted with the living conditions of female students and the level of the internal environment in families, and to help the landlords in concluding a lease agreement for this academic year.

On September 7 of this year, the women’s advisory council of “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage held the first meeting on the topic “Increasing the activity of women in the educational system is the demand of today”.
