The Embassy of Uzbekistan in India presented  a new collection of books to the library of “Silk Road”International Tourism University . A number of measures are being taken in our country to implement state youth policy, patriotic education of young people, further strengthening in them the respect for national values and traditions, increasing the spirituality of the younger generation, further developing the culture of reading, national literature and art, appreciation and worthy incentives for creative workers. One of such merits in our university is the work of our distinguished rector, the Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, Minister of Tourism and Sports A. Abdukhakimov. Under the leadership of A.Abdukhakimov about 20 thousand books on tourism, art, history, archeology, ethnology, geopolitics, geo-economics, culturology, religious studies, painting, sculpture, architecture and cultural heritage, published in all corners of the world, were delivered to the library at the shortest period. Our country's diplomatic institutions abroad are also contributing to this momentous occasion. The Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in India presented the “Silk Road” International Tourism University library with a new collection of books. These books are dedicated to the history and culture of India, its tourism industry, as well as literature and architecture, as well as the reign of the Baburids, who ruled this country for over 300 years, which will undoubtedly be of great benefit to our teachers and students in the research and education process.

On October 29, a Career Day event took place for recruitment to the “Silk Road Samarkand” complex, the largest tourism project in Central Asia, located on the Samarkand rowing canal. The event was held in the Great Hall of the “Silk Road” International Tourism University.
“Silk Road Samarkand” is a project unique in terms of scale and concept; there are few similar projects in the world. It includes 8 hotels of various profiles, an international congress center, the historical and ethnographic complex “Eternal City”, an aqua pool with swimming pools, as well as restaurants and cafes. Due to the scale and variety of tasks, the complex offers excellent opportunities for anyone who is looking for work and sees their future in the field of tourism and hospitality.
During the event, the heads of the department provided information on their areas and presented in details the purpose and capabilities of each complex object, as well as answering to participants' questions.

In order to ensure the implementation of the Action Plan signed between the Silk Road International University of Tourism and the Department of Emergency Situations, a visual and practical seminar was held for students and staff of the Silk Road International University of Tourism on the prevention of emergencies related to carbon monoxide poisoning, outbreaks of air-gas mixture, food poisoning, botulism and rabies.

As you know, in the winter season, due to a sharp cold snap, weather variability in residential apartments, various negative consequences arise due to violation of fire safety rules.

Professor of Osh State University, Doctor of Geographical Sciences, Dean of the Department of Geography Abdurashid Gumarovich Nizomiev visited Silk Road International University of Tourism with the purpose of cooperation between the two universities in educational, scientific and cultural spheres.

The guests of honor were welcomed by Eltazarov Juliy Danaboyevich, the first vice-rector of the university.

During the meeting, a mutual agreement was reached to assist students and faculty in conducting practice at tourist sites in the summer months, as well as to include in the routes of pilgrimage tourism such historical, cultural and natural sanctuaries such as the Sulaiman mountain, the mosque of Babur Mirzo, Aslanboy in Osh.

"Silk Road" International University of Tourism organized a medical examination of our female students in the first year of the academic year 2021/2022. The health and reproductive state of our young girls is an important task for today. That is why it is a must to carry out such activities.

He familiarized young voters with the biography of the presidential candidate, as well as with the election program.

It should be recognized that the focus of the participants' attention was on raising the level of universities, on effective work to ensure youth employment, their participation in some leadership positions and, in general, that attention to the owners of tomorrow has risen to a new level.

The main regional celebration, organized on the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of the state language status of the Uzbek language, began with the laying of flowers at the Alisher Navoi monument in the Central Park named after Alisher Navoi in Samarkand.

The event was attended by representatives of regional and city administrations, the regional office of the Union of Writers of Uzbekistan, higher educational institutions, public education departments of preschool education, national and cultural centers, communities and the general public.

Dear students! The National Council of Youth and Children's Associations of Russia plans to hold the first international student tourism online congress "Future Tourism - the future of tourism" on October 21, 2021.
The main task of the Congress is to promote and enhance the prestige of the tourism industry. The Congress is also dedicated to World Tourism Day and aims to educate a new generation of tourists who know national and world culture, history, care for natural heritage, and lead an active and healthy lifestyle.
During the event discussions will be on the issues such as the new generation of tourists, how student tourism is developing, the prospects of space tourism, how state policy is implemented in tourism, what are the opportunities for professional development of tourism, how to attract students to tourism professions or how to earn and begin earning money as a start-up.
The congress is expected to be attended by more than 10,000 students from more than 100 universities and special education institutions in Russia and the CIS.
