Samarkand’s Tourism Potential is Being Widely Promoted
In order to implement Resolution No. PQ-135 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 26, 2023, "On additional measures to rapidly develop the country's tourism potential and further increase the number of local and foreign tourists," the "International Extreme Sports Tourism" festival was held on June 4, 2025, in a beautiful mountain area located in the Oqboyro neighborhood of the Samarkand district to showcase the tourism opportunities and potential of the region.
A training session was held at the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage within the framework of the Erasmus+ QUARTZ project.
A Department of Uzbek Studies has been established in France!
