On September 26 of this year, during a meeting held under the leadership of Acting Governor of Samarkand Region, A. Boboyev, with entrepreneurs engaged in the tourism sector of the region, a task was given to conduct a survey among foreign tourists.

On October 14, 2025, at the UN Tourism Thematic Office, a scientific seminar was held under the Scientific Council DSc.33/01.02.2022.I.145.01 for awarding academic degrees in Economics at the ’’Silk Road’’ International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage. During the seminar, two PhD candidates of the university, Mardonova Dilrabo Shirinboyevna and Toyirova Shohista Bobobekovna, presented and discussed their dissertations in the specialty 08.00.17 – “Tourism and Hotel Management.”
