We are pleased to announce that the International Conference is scheduled to take place in Samarkand city (Uzbekistan) at the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism, May 29-30, 2020. The theme of the conference, «The creative potential of a multilingual personality: the influence of the multilinguistic factor on the process of learning a foreign language».

The conference is organized jointly by the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Tourism Development, in cooperation with the Korea university of international studies (Korea), Samarkand State university (Uzbekistan), Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (Kazakhstan), The Centre for Applied Linguistics (USA), and the Centre for Translation and Intercultural Studies (CTIS) (UK).

The main goal of the International scientific and practical conference is the creation of an international and information platform for improving the process of teaching foreign languages, as well as discussions on the theoretical and applied aspects of modern linguistics.

Following the conference, an electronic collection of papers will be registered in Crossref and Google Scholar international systems, and a DOI number will be given.

The language of the Conference and for the Proceedings will be in English.

Sections of the International Conference:

1. Actual issues related to modern linguistics;
2. Problems of implementation of applied linguistics in the development of Intercultural Communication;
3. The issues of dynamic interaction of traditional and new teaching methods, local and world trends in the formation of a multilingual personality;
4. Cultural pragmatic features in the teaching of a foreign language.

Participation form:

• oral presentation (personal);
• paper submitted to conference proceedings;
• moderation of a relevant topic (subject to personal participation);

• We encourage you to send complete abstract which is a compendious summary of a paper’s substance including its background, purpose, methodology, results, and conclusion. The abstract should clearly indicate the aims and conclusions of the work to be described in the final paper;
• The abstract must include a comprehensive title, the name of all authors, their complete affiliation (address, e-mail, phone number).

Abstract review process

Every abstract will undergo a double-blind peer review by an international Scientific Committee Member within three days after its receipt.

The results of the abstract review will be sent to the author within 5 days of submission.

Abstract Assessment criteria

The Scientific Committee evaluates abstracts according to the following criteria.

Relevance to the conference

Structure of the paper

Clarity of language

Appropriateness of the research/ methodology

If an abstract is accepted, submitter must provide full text paper.

We accept the submission of high-quality papers describing original and unpublished results of conceptual, experimental and theoretical work or research in all of the topic areas mentioned. All works are blindly reviewed and tested in plagiarism checker. Scientific articles should contain the results of original scientific research undertaken by the author. Following the ethical conduct is very critical in the academic world. Hence, any act of plagiarism cannot be tolerated. If an author is found to commit an act of plagiarism, the submission will be automatically dismissed.

Papers submitted at the conference will be published in the conference proceedings, subject to their acceptance by the review scientific committee.

Please note, that the number of authors must not be more than three. The number of articles that the author may publish must not be more than two. Articles submitted for publication must be at least 6 and not more than 15 pages, with abstracts of 250-300 words.

Research paper structure

Your paper should follow the Introduction, Methods, Results and Discussion system, and usually consist of the following sections:

3. Keywords (no more than seven);
4. Abstract;

References. Place the list of references at the end of the article, under the title “References”. Presentation Guidelines

All the oral presentations should be in English.

Practice your presentation as much as possible and consider the time you are given. The length of the presentation should be around 15 minutes. You can use any form of presentation you wish. Use your time fully and effectively. Give priority to your findings and outcomes. Have a copy of your presentation on a USB device.

All conference participants must pay the registration fee. Registration fee – 30.000 sum for each page of the paper for participants from Uzbekistan. Foreign participants have to pay a registration fee of 30 USD only. Registration fees are paid by the authors after the approval of their full papers.

C октября 2019 года, по запланированному 5 летнему проекту Британского Совета Creative Spark, начал свою деятельность «English Speaking Club» для изучения английского языка, а также подготовки и обучения студентов самостоятельному делопроизводству. 

Каждая встреча не похожа на учебные занятия, а слушатели курсов со своей стороны всегда идут на контакт и отзываются на все предложения с неподдельным энтузиазмом.  

Участники клуба общаются группами и парами, делятся впечатлениями о прошедшем дне и рассказывают о своих предпочтениях, задают такие вопросы, на которые бы и сами хотели дать ответ. Разговоры проходят в легкой и непринужденной форме – в первую очередь потому, что задания предполагают множество вариантов выполнения.

Стоит также отметить, что в рамках деятельности клуба регулярно проводятся дистанционные видеоконференции с Британским посольством. Британское посольство, в свою очередь, выделяет клубу различную учебную и художественную литературу. Участники клуба тщательно подготовили свою презентацию, которая была проведена для представителей Британского посольства в режиме онлайн. Последние также подчеркнули, что участники клуба получат Сертификаты об успешном окончании клуба и защиты своих проектов.

The theme of the conference is, “Tourism in the 21st- century: Innovations, Digital Technologies, Inclusive Growth".

The conference is organized jointly by the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Tourism Development, in cooperation with the Sahid Institute of Tourism (Indonesia), Academy of Tourism Antalya (Turkey), Guilin Tourism University (China), Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (Kazakhstan), Lovely Professional University (India), University of Kota (India), and International University of Tourism and Hospitality (Kazakhstan).

The main goal of this International scientific and practical conference is to create an international platform for the exchange of ideas and experience of scientific, methodological and practical recommendations. In addition, generalizations about scientific research, identifying directions for the implementation of innovative ideas and digital technologies will also be discussed in relation to the accelerated development of the tourism sector and inclusive economic growth.

Following the conference, an electronic collection of papers will be registered in Crossref and Google Scholar international systems, and a DOI number will be given.

Бундан ташқари, Меҳрибон Юнусова пазандачилик, Мафтуна Нуруллаева адабиёт йўналиши, Шаҳрибону Раҳимова миллий либослар дизайни, зардузлик ва попурчилик билан, Севинчбону Исроилова эса шеъриятга ва яна бир қатор талаба-қизларимиз илмий-инновацион ғоялари бўйича ўз иқтидорларини кўрик-танловларда намоён этиб келмоқда.

Бугунги синовли даврда масофадан туриб талаба-қизларнинг дарсларидан бўш вақтларини мазмунли ўтказишга ҳаракат қиляпмиз. Уларни келажак ҳаётга, оилага тайёрлаб, ўзига хос иқтидор эгаларини кашф этяпмиз.

Бутун башарият синовли ва оғир кунларни бошидан кечирмоқда. Коронавирусга қарши курашиш йўлида халқимиз бирлашиб, бирдам ва ҳамжиҳат бўлди. Саховатпеша инсонларнинг саъй-ҳаракатлари билан карантин вақтида қийин аҳволда қолган инсонларга меҳр-мурувват кўрсатилмоқда.

«Ипак йўли» туризм халқаро университети ҳам бу савобли ишлардан четда қолмади. Университет биринчи проректори Тўраев Баҳодир ташаббуси билан олийгоҳ жамоаси ҳамда Самарканд вилояти Волонтёрлар уюшмаси вакили Марина Игнатова билан биргаликда хайрия-эҳсон тадбири ўтказилди.

Университет фаоллари томонидан ёлғиз ногирон қариялар, муҳтож кишилар, ногирон, касалманд фарзанди бор оилаларга гўшт, ёғ ва қишлоқ хўжалиги маҳсулотлари тарқатилди. Бундан ташқари, болалар церебрал фалажи ташхиси қўйилган фарзанди бор оилаларга керакли дори-дармонлар етказиб берилди.

Бутун дунёни алғов-далғов қилган, инсониятни ғам-қайғуга солиб, тинч-осойишта ҳаётини издан чиқарган қўрқинчли бало бошқа томондан одамларга ҳаётни, тинчликни, бир-бирини қадрлаш имконини берди. Оғир дамларда инсонларнинг бир-бирига ёрдам қўлини чўзиши ҳам фарз, ҳам қарздир.

Сегодня весь мир переживает трудные испытания. Страшная болезнь, в плену которой оказалось все человечество, объединила народы, государства в борьбе против нее.

Милосердие, сострадание, гуманность, присущие нашему народу, сплотили узбекистанцев и все встали в один ряд, чтобы победить эту напасть. Благодаря добрым и щедрым соотечественникам оказывается помощь людям, находящимся в трудном положении во время карантина. Международный университет туризма “Шелковый путь” тоже внес свою лепту.

По инициативе первого проректора Баходира Тураева и коллектива университета было проведено благотворительное мероприятие. Активисты вуза раздали продукты питания одиноким пенсионерам, инвалидам, нуждающимся людям и семьям с больными детьми. Кроме того, семьи, в которых воспитываются дети с диагнозом ДЦП, получили необходимые лекарственные препараты.   

Ужасный вирус перевернул весь мир, доставил людям столько бед и горестей. Однако именно эта болезнь и заставила всех пересмотреть приоритеты, ценности, способствовала тому, чтобы люди начали ценить мир, спокойную размеренную жизнь, друг-друга. Ведь помогать – долг каждого из нас.
